Michael Morris

Michael Morris is Professor of Surface and Interface Engineering at the TCD School of Chemistry and is the Academic Director of the AMBER Centre. Professor Morris completed his BSc and PhD in the University of Liverpool and help a postdoctoral position at Imperial College London. He has held a number of academic positions in the Strathclyde University, Cardiff University and University College Cork. As well as a prominent academic career, Professor Morris also has extensive experience of working with industry, having projects and collaborations with companies such as Intel, DePuy, Merck Millipore, Henkel, Alcatel Lucent and others. He is also founder of Glantreo, based in Cork. Professor Morris is the coordinator of the DeMANS project.
