Marie-Joo Le Guen

Marie-Joo Le Guen is Research Group Leader in the Materials, Engineering and Materials Team at Scion. Dr Le Guen has had a long career as a materials scientist with Scion, covering areas including as Research Leader for Additive Manufacturing, the Materials, Engineering and Manufacturing Research Group Leader, and, more recently, as Acting Data and Geospatial Intelligence Research Group Leader. Dr Le Guen holds undergraduate and postgraduate (Masters) degrees from IUP Orleans (France) and she completed her PhD at the University of Canterbury (New Zealand), where she looked at the damping behaviour of plant-fibre composite materials.
