WAZP was founded in 2014 with a with a mission to refine the capabilities of additive manufacturing and create a Supply Chain as a Service that brings this endeavour to businesses globally and at scale. The business has grown to 25 people in this time and has successfully delivered large scale, high volume products to many industry leading brands.
WAZP continues to develop market driven supply chain solutions that require unique material and finishing solutions. WAZP's Distributed Manufacturing Footprint allows it to serve global companies through scalable, localised manufacture offering enhanced product development capabilities, a more sustainable manufacturing process and a distribution model that slashes lead times and reduces the product's environmental footprint.
WAZP has a 300 m2 facility in Kerry, Ireland, which house the R&D Team. This team consists of product engineers and supply chain engineers. WAZP's lab consists of multiple 3D printers and post-processing tools. The R&D Team actively develops material applications and finishing solutions in the Kerry facility. This facility also houses the market research team that endeavours to identify potential application based on market demand and technology and material capabilities.
